چکیده

In this paper we derive deterministic mesoscopic theories for model continuous spin lattice systems both at equilibrium and non-equilibrium in the presence of thermal fluctuations. The full magnetic Hamiltonian that includes singular integral (dipolar) interactions is also considered at equilibrium. The non-equilibrium microscopic models we consider are relaxation-type dynamics arising in kinetic Monte Carlo or Langevintype simulations of lattice systems. In this context we also employ the derived mesoscopic models to study the relaxation of such algorithms to equilibrium.

Modeling of Continuous Systems Using Modified Petri Nets

Due to the changes which may occur in their parameters, systems are usually demonstrated by some subsystems for different conditions. This paper employs Modified Petri Nets (MPN) to model theses subsystems and makes it simple to analyze them. In this method, first, the continuous transfer function is converted to a discrete transfer function and then, by MPN, system is modeled and analyzed. All...

Magnetic Properties in a Spin-1 Random Transverse Ising Model on Square Lattice

In this paper we investigate the effect of a random transverse field, distributed according to a trimodal distribution, on the phase diagram and magnetic properties of a two-dimensional lattice (square with z=4),  ferromagnetic Ising system consisting of magnetic atoms with spin-1. This study is done using the effectivefield theory (EFT) with correlations method. The equations are derived using...

Magnetic Properties and Phase Transitions in a Spin-1 Random Transverse Ising Model on Simple Cubic Lattice

Within the effective-field theory with correlations (EFT), a transverse random field spin-1 Ising model on the simple cubic (z=6) lattice is studied. The phase diagrams, the behavior of critical points, transverse magnetization,  internal energy, magnetic specific heat are obtained numerically and discussed for different values of p the concentration of the random transverse field.

Spin gases as microscopic models for non-Markovian decoherence

We analyze a microscopic decoherence model in which the total system is described as a spin gas. A spin gas consists of N classically moving particles with additional, interacting quantum degrees of freedom (e.g. spins). For various multipartite entangled probe states, we analyze the decoherence induced by interactions between the probeand environmental spins in such spin gases. We can treat me...
